Complex, overlapping, multi-level maps for web sites.
Web site users frequently complain about speed and ease of use. Complex mapping requires large amounts of data to be presented to the user.
With BorderNet MapMaster you can have as many levels of detail as you require. Datasets of many thaousands of pixels wide and tall can be accommodated. As an example, the Melrose Town Map is generated by BorderNet MapMaster.
Resolution is a problem with mapping on the World Wide Web. BorderNet MapMaster's mult-level approach allows all pages to be displayed within the browser window, without loosing any detail at the final view.
Bandwidth is at a premium on the Internet. Most surfers are limited by their ISP and their modem connection. BorderNet MapMaster can be configured to construct each map page from multiple images, so that the user only needs to load part of each page when scrolling.
Browser compatibility is a growing concern. BorderNet MapMaster does not require plug-ins in the major browsers. Any browser that can use client-side imagemaps should be able to access pages generated by BorderNet MapMaster.
