The garage premises are on the site of the old Corn Exchange. There is a stone next to the wall at the extreme right of the garage forecourt on which is carved the words, Corn Exchange Erected MDCCCLVI (1856)
The large white building on the other side of Black Bull Street is known as "The Hunt". This was once a Coaching Inn. A ring for tying up a horse can be seen on the wall.
Built in 1846 as the Boston Free Church School, this has a number of decorative panels.
This is opposite number 43 and is reputed to be the oldest house in Duns. It is thought to have been built in the 17th Century.
